Nicholas Collura, M.Div.

Faith is not the clinging to a shrine, but an endless pilgrimage of the heart.

Rabbi Heschel

Peace and welcome. If you would like to explore your inner life, you may be interested in the ancient but increasingly popular practice of spiritual direction — that is, conversation with a dialogue partner on the “endless pilgrimage of the heart.” I am a trained spiritual director and interfaith chaplain with a contemplative spirituality and a deep respect for the wisdom of the creative imagination. I have considerable experience with artists, students, spiritual seekers, those interested in Ignatian (Jesuit) spirituality, and those involved in direct service or social justice work, but I welcome all — regardless of religious background or life experience — who would like to share and to deepen their experience of God, a Higher Power, or ultimate meaning, as they understand it.

Please consider this site an invitation to discuss with me whether spiritual direction could be helpful to you.
